Anki Overdrive - Auf dem Boden der Tatsachen angekommen

So, dass war es dann mit dem Hype um Anki Overdrive. Gestern hatte mein Sohn wieder Lust darauf und wir sind da absolut enttäuscht worden. Ein neues Update, optisch schick mit ein paar guten Ideen, hat uns alles im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes versaut!

Diverse Upgrades aus dem Shop an Waffen und Ausstattungen (Speedbremsen) sind unsinnig geworden. Auch kann man die Wirkungsweise der Waffen nicht mehr nachvollziehen. Man trifft korrekt und der Gegner ignoriert das. Komisch. Aber eins nach dem anderen.

Zuerst wollten wir das neue Race System ohne Waffen ausprobieren. Bereits nach einer Runde wurde deutlich, dass langsamere Fahrzeuge ala Big Bang nun keine Chance mehr haben. Das ist ein Modus, den man nicht mehr benötigt.

Im Mehrspielermodus fiel uns auf, dass es keine Ausrüstung mehr gibt sondern nur noch Geld. Ebenfalls flogen wir regelmäßig aus dem WLAN Netz. Und das mit neuesten Androidgeräten! Vorher lief alles stabil. Stattdessen empfiehlt man jetzt auch noch Gps zu aktivieren. Hallo, was soll das? Oh und die KI Gegner reagieren sehr merkwürdig. Autos drehen sich im Kreis, verlassen die Bahn, weil sie zu schnell sind. Hier sind Schäden vorprogrammiert. Funfaktor NULL!

Selbst der Battlemodus macht keinen Spaß mehr. Hatten vorher Einsteiger noch Chancen, gibt es nur noch Frust. Irgendwie macht das alles keinen Sinn. Junior ist gefrustet und die Bahn steht in der Ecke. Spielstände sind verschwunden, stetige Unterberechungen im Spielfluß, eine Dynamik, die keiner mehr versteht, irgendwie ist der Sinn von Anki abhanden gekommen. Vorher ging es um Spaß und Gute Laune. Was jetzt im Vordergrund steht, weiß ich nicht. Wir sind hier genervt.

Schaut man sich im Google Store um, dann kann man deutlich den Frust der Spielgemeinschaft lesen. Das neue Update ist einfach ein Witz. Bis Dato gab es auch keine Reaktionen auf die Kritik der User. Ich finde es schon frech, dass man ein System verkauft, stetigen Spaß verspricht und dann so einen Mist baut. Wir haben uns hier vom ersten Hype mitreißen lassen und beinah alle Anki Overdrive Fahrzeuge am Start. Haufen Geld investiert für was?

Ja für was? Damit das Teil hier sinnig rum steht? Man hat ja nicht einmal die Möglichkeit sich eine alte Version zu ziehen! Aktuell rate ich dringend vom Kauf AB!!!! Wartet bis die App verbessert wurde und was die Spielegemeinschaft dazu sagt. Ansonsten ist das ein Verlustgeschäft für euch. Naja, man mußte ja auch unbedingt Fast & Furiouse mit einbringen und hat dementsprechend die App verändert. Das ist voll in die Hose gegangen. Vielleicht hätten die Entwickler nicht alles in eine App packen sollen.

Getrennte Themen = getrennte Versionen. Meine Meinung. Schließlich ging es um Future Race und nicht um die Gegenwart. Nur für Werbung und Merchandise eine weitere Story zu implementieren und auch noch das gewohnte Feeling zu opfern, finde ich falsch. Aktuell hat man sich ins eigene Knie geschossen! Also: Bitte, bitte wieder die alte Version bringen. Danke.

Even the battle mode is no fun anymore. Had previously beginners still opportunities, there is only frustration. Somehow it makes no sense. Junior is frustrated and the track is in the corner. Games have disappeared, constant sub-calculations in the flow of the game, a dynamic that no one understands, somehow the meaning of Anki has been lost. Previously it was about fun and good mood. I do not know what is in the forefront. We are annoyed here.

Wait until the app has been improved and the game community says. Otherwise, this is a loss business for you.
